SUMMARY:Homeschool – Session 2: Math in Science
DESCRIPTION:Enrich your homeschool curriculum through our new four-week long homeschool science sessions. During each session\, students will come together to explore a science topic in depth through hands-on lessons designed to spark their curiosity and ignite an interest in STEM. Our informal science education environment encourages students to ask questions\, gain experience using scientific tools and make connections\, both intellectual and social\, through engaging experiments and activities.\n\n\n\nSession 2: Math in Science\n\nNovember 12 21 and December 3 12 (Tuesdays and Thursdays\, 2 4pm)\n\n\n\nTake learning to an exponential level with sessions focused on how scientists use math to calculate\, visualize and understand science. Explore how mathematical patterns are present in nature\, how angles and shapes are essential in engineering design and discover ratios and probability by trying out experiments to find the value of pi!\n\n\n\nOnline registration closes Friday\, November 8 at 5:00 p.m.
