Mouse - Ladies' Spotlight - OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival

It's the summer of 2002, and high school senior Minnie has always lived in the shadow of her charismatic best friend, Callie. When their lifelong friendship unexpectedly unravels, Minnie is forced to navigate the uncertainty of adolescence on her own. Drawn into an unexpected relationship with Callie's elegant mother while forging a connection with a new queer friend, Minnie begins to discover her own identity beyond the expectations of others. Featuring standout performances including Sophie Okonedo and David Hyde Pierce, Mouse is a tender, funny, and beautifully observed coming-of-age story about friendship, first love, grief, and the courage to embrace your authentic self.
