The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce & GALLA presents its monthly networking program tailored for attorneys, judges, and legal professionals. This free webinar will be conducted via Zoom and is open to both GALLA members and to the community at large.

Our guest speaker will be Mark Scott, J.D. LL.M. (Principal - Estate & Trust Services at Kaufman Rossin) speaking on the topic of Taxes. Below you will find an outline on the topics to be covered.  We are currently exploring the opportunity to obtain CLE.  Will confirm soon.

Mark Scott joined Kaufman Rossin in 2000 and is a principal in the estate and trust department. Mark?s areas of concentration include complex estate tax planning, gift tax planning, trust tax planning, and estate and gift tax return examinations.  Mark holds a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law.  He received his Bachelor?s degree from the University of Florida.  Mark is a member of The Florida Bar and served on the Continuing Legal Education Committee.  He is a Director of the Long Range Planning Committee for The Florida Bar Tax Section. In addition, Mark is the current President Elect of the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami; and a past president of the Greater Miami Tax Institute.  Mark is a member of The Miami Foundation?s Board of Trustees, currently serving as Chair of the Audit Committee.  He also is a member of the Mount Sinai Hospital Young Founders and served on the Young Presidents?
