The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) invites you to join them in a free virtual networking & engaging session addressing the topic of HEALTHCARE. This will be the first of a four-part series of dialogues on ?Areas of Focus & Development in Miami? that will be hosted by the MDGLCC in 2020-2021. Other topics in the series include; Housing, Education, and Tourism.
The session on HEALTHCARE will feature remarks and panel discussion with esteem leaders of this sector in our community addressing matters such as; the state of HEALTHCARE in Miami, challenges & opportunities, as well as expected changes for the future. Guest speakers will be: Luis M. Ferrer (Sexual Minority Health Coordinator) at the Florida Department of Health (Miami Dade), Dr. Hansel E. Tookes, III (Attending Physician, Infectious Disease) at Jackson Health System, Deborah Holmes, M.D., A.A.H.I.V.S. (Medical Director, AHF North Miami Beach Healthcare Center) at AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and Paul Mungo RN, Chief Nursing Officer, VP of South Miami Hospital at Baptist Health South Florida.
This session counts with the support of FPL and will be moderated by Steve Adkins (President & CEO of the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce).
