Kids will spend the day exploring the museum’s interactive exhibitions, conducting science experiments and making new friends in the beautiful bayside setting of Maurice A. Ferré Park. Open to grades Pre-K through 5th.
November 4, Blast from the Past
Embark on an excavation exploring the fauna and flora of prehistoric times. Step into the shoes of a paleontologist to understand the investigative process behind a dino dig. From field study basics to identification of findings by putting the uncovered pieces together, you will use the power of observation and learn about data collection before concluding your paleo adventure by preserving your own specimen to take home.

$50 for members (note: members must be logged in to their online membership account to receive discounted rate) and $60 for non-members, per day. Before and after care are available at an additional cost. Two snacks included each day. Lunch may be purchased for an additional $8 plus 8% sales tax.
